Scór    Huge congrats to our Scór na nÓg group who competed in the Munster semi final on Sunday and secured a spot in the Munster final to be held on January 8th in Ovens Co Cork.

We thought they performed ‘The Matchmaker’ really well in the County Final a few weeks ago, but on Sunday they pulled out all the stops and literally had the (very appreciative) audience rolling in the aisles!!!

Well done to Barry Sugrue, Jack Costelloe, Joshua de Róiste, Liam Óg Kingston, Dearbhla Quirke and Aine O Sullivan and many thanks to the parents who travelled to Cashel to support the kids.

Christmas Party Night    Na Gaeil Christmas Party Night is on this Saturday night in the clubhouse from 9pm onwards. All are welcome.

This is a big night for the ladies as it is presentation night for Mná na Gaeil and the Senior Ladies. It will be a night of music and craic so come along and join in the fun.

One Wedding and a Funeral     Don’t forget to buy your tickets for the hilarious comedy One Wedding and a Funeral which is due to be staged in the clubhouse on Saturday night January 14th .

They’re moving quickly and once they’re gone they’re gone. Numbers are limited so don’t be disappointed. Tickets are €20 and are now on sale at the bar. Please note that this event is strictly over 18s only.

Christmas Raffle    Na Gaeil Bingo Committee holding a Monster Christmas Raffle. There are some fantastic prizes to be won.

The main prize is a 32” LG TV. Tickets are on sale at €2 each or four for €5 in the clubhouse bar from Monday December 5th to Monday December 19th. Write full name and mobile no. on the back of each ticket. Please support this brilliant raffle.

Na Gaeil Annual Golf Outing is in Castlegregory on the 27th December. Tee Times from 10.00 to 11.00 am.

Congrats to Glenbeigh/Glencar on their great victory over Gabriel Rangers in the Munster Junior Final last week. We wish them all the best in the All Ireland Semi Final in the New Year.

Cash For Clubs   Na Gaeil is now registered in the ‘Topaz Cash for Clubs’ initiative. Any club Members who are also Topaz card holders are able to allocate tokens to the Club and help raise funds.

Na Gaeil Cycling Club   Na Gaeil Cycling Club is now up and running with its winter schedule:  Saturday mornings at 10am from the clubhouse. ALL ARE WELCOME, high vis essential.

Fir na Gaeil   Light Football Training for Men who have retired from playing football and for those that have not played and would like to try it out. Very little skill is required. We train on Monday. This is a great way to keep fit with light training, ball games and a bit of a laugh. Contact Eddie at 0876791460 for more info indoor Core Training from 7.00 to 8.00 in the gym and Friday nights from 7.30 to 8.30pm in the I.T.

Mná Na Gaeil    We are a Gaelic for Mothers and Others team who come together and do a bit of exercise, football training and socialising. Anyone who would like to join are most welcome, No skills are required, just a good attitude and a sense for fun. We are now doing indoor Core work for the winter on Wednesdays and Sundays.  Contact Eddie at 0876791460 for more info.

Lotto   The draw for the jackpot of €6,400 took place on Tuesday evening last. Numbers drawn were 1, 5, 10, 20.  There was no winner.

€50 winners were Mary Moriarty, Laurel Court and Jack Bulman C/O Na Gaeil. €25 winners were Josie O’Brien, Cluain Dara, Tadhg Condon, Ballinorig, John O’Carroll, Oakview and Guenter Siech, Oakley Park, Next week’s lotto is worth €6,500. All are welcome for the draw in the club each Tuesday night at 10.30pm.
Bingo    Bingo is on every Monday night at 8.30pm sharp. We have prize money of over €1,000 guaranteed every week with a mini jackpot that increases fortnightly when not won.  A door prize and a half-time raffle with lovely prizes will also take place every week. .

A bus service is available at 087 2817577.  You can ring this number for pick up and drop off.  100% of the funds raised go back directly into the club.   The bingo is run on a total voluntary basis and a huge thank you to all the parents who offer their time to run this vital fundraiser for the club.

Cards   A card game is held every Wednesday night in the clubhouse. This is a very sociable occasion where you meet your friends for a great night’s entertainment and relaxation.  Everyone from novice to senior will enjoy a relaxing game of 45.
