Scór Sinsir    The first round of Scór Sinsir of the greater Tralee area will take place in Na Gaeil Clubhouse this Thursday night February 2nd at 8pm. Come along and support your club. A great night’s entertainment is guaranteed.

 

U10 Boys    Our boys continued their training last Sunday indoors in Tralee Sports Complex.  See you all again next Sunday at 11am. Please remember to bring €2 to cover the cost of the hall & please bring along your mouth-guard & a bottle of water too. New members are always welcome at Na Gaeil so if you’d like to try your hand at GAA come along and give it a go.

 

U8    On Sunday last our players had another training session at the Tralee Sports Complex.
Training continues next Sunday at 10am.Please remember to bring your own bottle of water and €2.

 

U6 Boys & Girls   The boys and girls are gradually getting used to the ball and with fun drills and games they are improving weekly! Training continues Sundays at 10am in the complex.

 

U8 & U10 Girls     The girls have returned to training for the last two weeks indoors in Tralee Sports Complex. The turnout has been very good with all the old faces along with some new ones. Training continues next Sunday at 11.Please bring €2 for the hall. New members always welcome so bring a friend.

 

 

Registration for U6, U8 & U10’s will take place after training in Tralee Sports Complex on February 12th and 19th. Training is going very well with these groups and there are large numbers attending. The coaches are very dedicated and excellent in imparting the basic skills of the game to all these aspiring young players. They do so in a fun and enjoyable way so that the kids get the maximum out of each coaching session.
Na Gaeil Dinner Dance    Na Gaeil Club is having a dinner-dance in the Meadowlands Hotel on March 4th with music provided by Heart and Soul. Further info to follow next week but a fab night is guaranteed !

 

Congratulations to Glenbeigh/Glencar on their wonderful victory over Luisburgh of Mayo in the All Ireland Junior Semi Final played in Ennis on Sunday. We wish them the best of luck in the All Ireland Final in Croke Park in February.

 

 

Na Gaeil Cycling Club   Na Gaeil Cycling Club is now up and running with its winter schedule:  Saturday mornings at 10am from the clubhouse. ALL ARE WELCOME, high vis essential.

 

Na Gaeil Annual Cycle     Na Gaeil Annual Cycle will take place this year on Saturday April 22nd.

 

Fir na Gaeil   Light Football Training for Men who have retired from playing football and for those that have not played and would like to try it out. Very little skill is required. We train on Monday. This is a great way to keep fit with light training, ball games and a bit of a laugh. Contact Eddie at 0876791460 for more info indoor Core Training from 7.00 to 8.00 in the gym and Friday nights from 7.30 to 8.30pm in the I.T.

 

Mná Na Gaeil    We are a Gaelic for Mothers and Others team who come together and do a bit of exercise, football training and socialising. Anyone who would like to join are most welcome, No skills are required, just a good attitude and a sense for fun. We are now doing indoor Core work for the winter on Wednesdays and Sundays.  Contact Eddie at 0876791460 for more info.

 

Lotto   The draw for the jackpot of €7,100 took place on Tuesday evening last. Numbers drawn were 1, 4, 6, 22.  There was no winner.  €50 winners were Rebecca Walsh, Killarney and Michael B. O’Grady, Derrylea. €25 winners were Anne Hickey, Woodlands, Morgan Sheehy, Bateman’s Green, John Higgins, The Kerries and Gerard Buckley, Tarbert. Next week’s lotto is worth €7,200. All are welcome for the draw in the club each Tuesday night at 10.30pm.
 

Bingo    Bingo is on every Monday night at 8.30pm sharp. We have prize money of over €1,000 guaranteed every week with a mini jackpot that increases fortnightly when not won.  A door prize and a half-time raffle with lovely prizes will also take place every week. .  A bus service is available at 087 2817577.  You can ring this number for pick up and drop off.  100% of the funds raised go back directly into the club. The bingo is run on a total voluntary basis and a huge thank you to all the parents who offer their time to run this vital fundraiser for the club.  If anyone wants to donate a spot prize for our weekly bingo raffle, please leave it at use and mark it “Bingo”. Thanks to all our patrons who support this event on a weekly basis.

 

 

Cards   A card game is held every Wednesday night in the clubhouse. This is a very sociable occasion where you meet your friends for a great night’s entertainment and relaxation.  Everyone from novice to senior will enjoy a relaxing game of 45.
