Seniors    Kerins O’Rahillys entertained Na Gaeil in round 2 of the Tralee Town League in Ballyrickard on Sunday.

Na Gaeil played against a strong breeze in the first half. Weather conditions were very poor and scores were hard to come by. The half time score was Na Gaeil 0-1; Kerins O’Rahillys 1-04.

Weather conditions improved in the 2nd half and the wind died down. Na Gaeil won their fair share of possession but found it hard to convert it into scores.

On the other hand Kerins O’Rahillys created more scoring opportunities and converted a good percentage of them. The final score was Na Gaeil 0-6; Kerins O’Rahillys 3-09.

However there are a lot of positives to be taken from this game and the management can be very happy with the work rate and effort of the players and subs introduced.

Tadhg O’Neill had a great game between the posts and made three wonderful saves. Kieran Dineen played very well at full back as did the evergreen Paul Daly in the corner. Jamie Lowham worked very hard up front and was ably assisted by Jordan Murphy.

Team: Tadhg O’Neill,Eoin Doody, Kieran Dineen, Paul Daly, Rob Murphy, David Culloty, Kieran Donovan, Stefan Okunbor, Mike Griffin(0-1), Ger O’Connor, Ian McCarthy(0-1), Jordan Murphy, Darragh Carmody, Jamie Lowham, Diarmaid Herlihy(0-03). Subs: Dylan Brazil for Eoin Doody; Cormac Sheehy for Jordan Murphy; Paul Nolan(0-1) for David Culloty; Tony Griffin for Jamie Lowham; Pa Roche for Kieran Donovan; Cian Quirke for Rob Murphy.
