NA GAEIL Bingo and Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí will join forces for a bilingual night of bingo during Seachtain Na Gaeilge as a fundraiser for the school.
On Friday, March 4 beginning at 7:30pm at the clubhouse in Killeen, Na Gaeil Bingo will break from the norm for Seachtain Na Gaeilge, by calling out bingo balls in both English and as Gaeilge.
Bingo fans might hear “two fat ladies” coming out as something like “beirt bhan ramhar”.

“As this is our first time doing the fundraiser, we are hoping for a great turnout,” said Niamh Burke, of Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí Parents Council. “We would love to see past pupils of the school and their families coming down to support the school that was so important in their education,” said Niamh Burke. Prize money on the night will total €1,000 with an overall jackpot of €200 to be won.
“We have a brilliant raffle, with loads of prizes which will give as many as possible a chance of winning,” said Niamh. If you need more information you can contact Niamh Burke on 087-9863667.
