Na Gaeil Prepares For Annual Cycle Fundraiser

Posted by

Cyclists gather before the start of the Na Gaeil GAA Club Cycle last August.

IT’S normally held at the end of August, but this year’s annual Na Gaeil GAA Club Cycle has been brought forward to April and it’s set to draw a big entry.

In fact, with the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle coming up it’s a perfect way to practice for it on Saturday, April 21 and raise funds for the GAA club in Oakpark.

There’s normally a good crowd for the event and the cyclists will set off on the routes at 9.30am before returning for refreshments in the clubhouse.

There are two routes: 40km & 80km. Adult fee is €25; U16 fee is €10 and a family fee of €60. Discounts will be available for Cycling Ireland members.

You can register any evening in the clubhouse or on the morning of the cycle from 8am. For more details call 066-7127577.
