Nearly €150,000 For Kerry Community And Voluntary Groups

COMMUNITY and voluntary groups in Kerry will receive €149,415 in Covid-19 Stability funding.

The funding includes €30,313 for Tralee-based Donal Walsh Livelife Foundation. The primary aim of the fund is to support organisations suffering financially due to a reduction in their fundraising and/or traded income due to the pandemic.

Under this tranche of funding, cash injections of between €2,000 and €200,000 are being awarded to qualifying organisations that provide critical services to those most vulnerable in society.

These organisations, which span across a range of sectors, have been hit with short-term cash flow issues as a result of the Pandemic.
