LUCKY Kerry Woman Nellie Foley from Killarney, scooped €53,000 in Saturday’s National Lottery Winning Streak TV Game show.
All of Nellie’s family were supporting her in the audience of Winning Streak last weekend, including some of her 17 grandchildren.
Nellie Foley celebrated her 90th birthday last November and is from Barleymount overlooking the lakes of Killarney.
She grew up on a farm where she was one of nine children. Nellie is a widow- she married farmer Daniel Foley in 1948 and they had seven children.
She likes to spend time in the garden, enjoys home baking; her speciality are apple tarts and queen cakes; and she regularly attends bingo in the community halls in Killarney in her spare time.
