THE Bon Secours Hospital Tralee has welcomed two new doctors to the hospital.
Plastic Surgeon, Mr John Curran, a Donegal-native, commenced work at the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee in August and his clinic appointments are already quite busy.
He previously practised as a Clinical Fellow in Aesthetic Surgery at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and his specialist areas of interest include Cosmetic Surgery and Microsurgery.

Consultant Radiologist, Dr Ciarán Healy from Dublin, also joined the medical staff in Tralee last month after moving from St Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, Canada.
The Bon Secours Hospital Tralee is now seeking to recruit a Consultant General Surgeon, Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon and a Consultant Anesthetist / Pain Specialist.
It follows the major expansion of the facilities with the addition of two new state-of-the-art Theatres and two Endoscopy Procedure Rooms.
The Manager at the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, Donna Roche said: “We always strive to strengthen our team and increase our offerings to patients who seek advanced medicine with exceptional care. The recent arrival of Mr John Curran, Dr Ciarán Healy in August and three more Consultants in the coming months to Tralee will add to the already strong range of medical services currently available at the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee for patients from Kerry and further afield.”
The ongoing expansion of the Bon Secours Hospital has also meant that they are recruiting full-time and part-time Staff Nurses for permanent posts.
