THE new public toilets at the Mens’ Beach in Ballybunion were opened by Cllr Michael Foley, Cathaoirleach of Listowel Municipal District on Friday last.

The toilets were funded under the 2017 Town & Village Renewal Scheme with a grant investment of €200,000 with match funding coming from the Strategic Community Support Fund of Kerry County Council.

This project is an example of ongoing investment in Ballybunion and North Kerry Tourism infrastructure, and follows on from the refurbishment of the public toilets at Ladies’ Beach in Ballybunion and refurbishment of the Gleann Road.
