YOUNG performers between the ages of 15 and 20, with an interest in acting on stage at Siamsa Tire, met on Saturday to begin a new term at Free Radicals Youth Theatre.

Members of the youth theatre also take day trips each year to visit theatres, plays and performances at theatres in Kerry and in neighbouring counties. Each Winter and Summer the members of the youth theatre perform an ensemble piece on stage at Siamsa Tire, showcasing their work from the year.

Following their time in Free Radicals, where they get a chance to tread the boards at Siamsa Tire, members of the youth theatre have progressed to the Gaeity School of Acting and have also written work and performed in critically acclaimed festivals throughout the country.

The youth theatre welcomes new members throughout the year and will meet again on October 15 from 4pm at Siamsa Tire. All are welcome.
