New Role For Grace At GoKerry

GoKerry has announced the appointment of Grace O’Donnell as the new Manager of the organisation.

GoKerry is an all Kerry tourism organisation giving a voice to businesses, individuals and communities promoting Kerry as Ireland’s most vibrant tourism destination.

“Grace brings with her into the roll a vast amount of experience in administration, sales and customer care as well as an extensive knowledge of the County of Kerry through her time as a sales representative,” reads a statement from GoKerry.

A former Tralee Town Councillor, Grace served as Mayor of Tralee from 2011 to 2012. She also plays an active role in the community through her work as a director of The Kerry Film Festival, a director of Kerry Life Skills along with been a member of Tralee Rotary Club, Recover Haven Cancer and has served as secretary of Tralee Rugby Club for the last 16 years.

Commenting on her appointment the Chair of All Kerry Tourism, Padraig Hanrahan said that “Grace joins the company at a strategic growth time for the organisation. Visitor numbers to the County are high but we want to maintain our position as the number one Tourism County in Ireland and we are hopeful that this appointment will move us forward again.

“As always a core aim of the organisation is to spread the visitors out to all parts of County and extend the seasonality of some destinations. Grace has built up a great network of contacts throughout the County and will continue to promote Kerry at existing events like the National Ploughing Championships and with support from the Board will add new promotional and marketing ideas to sell Kerry to both a domestic and international cliental.”
