A NIGHT of ‘Music, Fashion & Fun’ is promised at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel next month in aid of Multiple Sclerosis (Tralee/West Kerry Branch).

Organised by Eileen Whelan, manager of Carraig Donn, Tralee, and Audrey Moran, PRO of Multiple Sclerosis (Tralee/West Kerry), the fashion show on Saturday, October 18 hopes to raise much needed funds for provision of essential services for those with MS in Kerry.

It also promises to be a wonderful night out for all ages with lots of fashion, musical entertainment and a few celebrity sporting appearances.

Tickets are only €20 and are available now from MS Kerry on 086 8816845, Carraig Donn Tralee and the Ballyroe Heights Hotel. Early purchase is advisable.

The evening will commence with a champagne reception and dancing from the wonderful Triple Dancers in the lobby of the Ballyroe Heights Hotel.

The fashion show is being produced by Upfront Model Management in association with top DJ Ray Stack and includes the latest in Autumn / Winter fashion from Kerry’s top designers and boutiques.

Their show will open with a preview of the new collection from emerging Kerry-born, London-based fashion designer, Stephen Foley. Participating boutiques include Carraig Donn, IOTA, Jasmine, Weardrobe, Paco, Annburys, Rockalilly, Friendtex and Miss Captain from Claire Murphy, La Femme, Diva & Dudes, Bamboo, Hannons, Official Menswear, JJam, Shindig, Ryle Menswear, and many more.

Also, winner of the Rose of Tralee Fashion Designer Award, Nuala McCarthy, will close the show with highlights from her current collection.

Hair on the evening will be created by the amazing Kitty and her team from the Style Council, Tralee and make up will be Nicola’s Haven. Post show there will be musical entertainment in the bar until late with the amazing Midnite Cafe.

The best dressed lady, sponsored by Carraig Donn Tralee, and best dressed gentleman, sponsored by Ryle Menswear, will be judged by fashionistas Orlagh Winters and Eileen Whelan.

Other prizes included a makeover sponsored by Jasmine Boutique. The MS Branch have also organised lots of excellent spot and raffle prizes on the night, including an amazing door prize of a stove from Cremur Tralee valued at €800!

“We are a totally voluntary organisation and depend completely on fund raising to support the vital services we provide for free to those living with MS in the Tralee and West Kerry Area,” said Audrey Moran, spokesperson, MS, (Tralee / West Kerry Branch).

“We provide free physiotherapy and pilate classes for any person with MS, as well as other essential support services. Everyone at the branch is a volunteer and all monies raised from this show will be kept in Kerry to support those with MS. Everyone of us knows someone with MS and we ask you to support this event by coming along on the night; purchasing a non attending ticket or donating a raffle prize,” said Audrey.

The night is expected to sell out quickly, so advance purchase of tickets is strong advised. For those wishing to stay and make a night of it, the Ballyroe Heights Hotel have a special B&B rate with show ticket of only €55 per person sharing.
