Nine All-Star Nominations For Kerry Players

THE PwC All-Star football nominations have been announced and Kerry has nine players in contention for the awards.

David Clifford and Sean O’Shea have also been nominated for Young Player Of The Year.

The Kerry nominations are;

Goalkeeper: Shane Ryan. Defenders: Paul Murphy, Tadhg Morley, Tom O’Sullivan. Midfielder: David Moran. Forwards: David Clifford, Paul Geaney, Seán O’Shea, Stephen O’Brien

The Dublin trio of Stephen Cluxton, Jack McCaffrey and Con O’Callaghan are the contenders for Footballer of the Year, while Rian O’Neill of Armagh joins Clifford and O’Shea as nominees for Young Player of the Year.

Dublin have obviously received the most All Star nominations at 13 with Donegal receiving six, Mayo four, Tyrone three, Meath three, Armagh two, Roscommon two and Cavan, Clare, and Cork  with one each

The winners will be announced on Friday, November 1 at a gala black tie banquet at Dublin’s Concention Centre on Friday, November 1 – an event which will be shown live on RTÉ TV.
