Nine New Kerry Cases, 1,000 COVID-19 Cases Reported Nationally

KERRY has seen a rise of nine cases in the health authorities daily update this evening.

The incidence in the county over the past 14 days is now 175 per 100,000 (16th highest nationally) with 259 cases confirmed in the same period.

The official number of COVID-19 cases in the county rose by 37 to reflect yesterday’s increase, which brings the number to 654 since the start of the pandemic with today’s nine cases to be added tomorrow.

1,000 new cases over the past 24 hours confirmed nationally by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) this evening.

254 in Dublin, 102 in Meath, 88 in Cork, 81 in Cavan, 75 in Galway and the remaining 400 cases are spread across 20 counties.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland so far, now stands at 47,427.

There were three additional deaths from the virus reported this evening in Ireland. The total number of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 is 1,841.

    The Irish even considering a nationwide lockdown again is madness.
    Just look at the business closures so far!

    It only works if the citizen complies to surrender their GOD given natural and constitutional rights of freedom.

    Wake up, 1.35 million people die in road crashes each year, on average 3,700 people lose their lives every day on the roads. An additional 20-50 million suffer non-fatal injuries, often resulting in long-term disabilities. More people die from cars every year and they are not banning them to protect the public!
