There’s another weather warning for Kerry today.

WE’VE been battered by wind and rain over the past week and while the rain has eased off, it’s still going to be blustery down here in Kerry.

Met Éireann this morning has issued a Yellow Status Wind Warning for Kerry, Wexford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork,  Limerick and Waterford.

Southwest winds will gradually strengthen through today and tonight with mean speeds 50 to 65 km/hr and gusts to 90 km/hr. Exposed coastal fringes will be most affected with the strongest winds in the Northwest tonight.

Today will be mild, blustery and mostly cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle, mainly on coasts and hills down  here. But amounts will be small. The good news is at least there’s no cold there and temperatures will be around 12 or 13 degrees, with fresh or strong and gusty southwest winds.

The wind warning is valid until Wednesday morning at 8am, so take care out there.
