No Increase In Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Kerry

THERE was no increase in the number of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Kerry announced this evening, with the total so far still officially at 271.

The national figures were revealed as usual at the daily briefing from the Department of Health this evening.

37 more people have died from the Coronavirus in Ireland.  This brings the total of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 to 829. However, the total death toll is now 1,014 patients which includes 185 probable deaths from Covid-19.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland, now stands at 18,184 after 577 new cases were confirmed this evening.

Kerry has the 14th most cases in the country after Dublin (8,729), Cork (1,096), Kildare (954), Meath (568), Louth (536), Wicklow (506), Cavan (506), Donegal (440), Limerick (439), Westmeath (409), Mayo (391), Tipperary (343) and Galway (331). The Department’s Covid-19 information dashboard can be accessed by clicking here.
