No Increase Of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases For Kerry

THERE was no increase in the number of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Kerry reported this evening, with the total so far in the county at 307.

It is not known how many of the 307 people have recovered from the virus.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland so far, now stands at 24,112 after 64 new cases were confirmed this evening, the lowest daily increase since March 16.

Ten more deaths from the virus were reported this evening in Ireland at the daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team.  This brings the total of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 to 1,543.

Kerry has the 17th most cases in the country after Dublin (11,666), Kildare (1,361), Cork (1,352), Cavan (781), Meath (778), Louth (739), Wicklow (656), Westmeath (655), Limerick (601), Mayo (547), Tipperary (523), Donegal (475), Monaghan (480), Offaly (459), Galway (418), and Clare (314). The Department’s Covid-19 information dashboard can be accessed by clicking here.
