No Rise In Confirmed Cases Of COVID-19 Reported For Kerry

THERE was no increase in the number of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Kerry reported this evening, with the total so far in the county still at 308.

It is not known how many of the 308 people have recovered from the virus.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland so far, now stands at 24,315 after 64 new cases were confirmed this evening.

Eleven more deaths from the virus were reported this evening in Ireland at the daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team.  This brings the total of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 to 1,571.

Kerry has the joint 17th (with Roscommon) most cases in the country after Dublin (11,733), Kildare (1,379), Cork (1,376), Cavan (802), Meath (787), Louth (745), Wicklow (657), Westmeath (658), Limerick (610), Mayo (558), Tipperary (528), Monaghan (485), Donegal (477), Offaly (468), Galway (445), and Clare (315). The Department’s Covid-19 information dashboard can be accessed by clicking here.
