No Rise Again In Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In Kerry

THERE was no increase again in the number of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Kerry reported this evening, with the total so far in the county still at 308.

It is not known how many of the 308 people have recovered from the virus. The number of cases in Kerry has not increased since last Tuesday.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland so far, now stands at 24,698 after 59 new cases were confirmed this evening.

For the first time since mid-March, there were no new deaths from the virus reported this evening in Ireland at the daily briefing from the National Public Health Emergency Team.  The total of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 is 1,608.

Kerry has the 19th most cases in the country after Dublin (11,876), Cork (1,438), Kildare (1,390), Cavan (825), Meath (797), Louth (759), , Westmeath (663), Wicklow (661), Limerick (619), Mayo (568), Tipperary (528), Monaghan (501), Donegal (478), Offaly (478), Galway (461), Kilkenny (334), Clare (322) and Roscommon (319). The Department’s Covid-19 information dashboard can be accessed by clicking here.
