THERE’S still time to nominate people and businesses for the 2nd Connect Kerry Hair and Beauty Awards will take place at The Rose Hotel on Sunday, March 11.
Organized by Margaret Kissane Publisher and Editor of Connect Magazine, the awards will both celebrate and recognize the enormous talent and success of the hair and beauty industry in Kerry.
“These people deserve to be recognized and we are delighted to reward them for the work they do on a daily basis to make us all look good and feel great. It’s the first of its kind in Kerry and we are delighted its now an annual even in the calendar,” said Margaret.

There are 15 Overall Award Categories as follows…
• The Connect Kerry Make Up Artist Award
• The Connect Kerry Wedding and Occasion Make Up Specialist Award
• The Connect Kerry Brow /Lash Specialist Award.
• The Connect Kerry Nail Technician Award
• The Connect Kerry Waxing Specialist Award
• The Connect Kerry Wedding and Occasion Up Style Specialist Award
• The Connect Kerry Color Technician Award
• The Connect Kerry Cutting and restyling Award
• The Connect Kerry Facial Specialist Award
• The Connect Kerry Blogger in the industry Award
• The Connect Kerry Junior Stylist Hair or Make up Award
• The Connect Kerry Massage Specialist Award.
• The Connect Kerry Salon/Counter Manager Award
• The Connect Kerry Hair Salon of the year Award.
• The Connect Kerry Beauty Salon of the year Award.
There will be a maximum of 10 finalists in each category and the winner will be chosen public vote. All details will be announced on February 5.
There are a number of special awards presented also including the overall Hair Individual and overall Beauty individual which will be chosen from the finalists in the room.
