Nonfaction Brings Free Gigs To The Greyhound Next Weekend

FOLLOWING a successful concert by Junior Brother at St. John’s the Evangelist Church last weekend, Nonfaction return with a weekend of free performances at The Greyhound Bar Tralee on May 20/21.

It all kicks off Friday, May 20 at 8.30pm with Messyng – a North Kerry bedroom pop band composed of childhood friends DJ Daddy Heely Rave, IBAN, SpiderJJ and Steven Staunton. You can expect songs about the Aquadome, fairy forts and other North Kerry favourites.

The music will continue through the night with Deviant & Naïve Ted. Deviant has played to crowds all over Ireland and beyond, supporting the likes of Wu-Tang on tour.

They will be joined by Súil Amháin, a hip-hop artist from Listowel and Bill Karnation, an electronica producer originally from Farranfore.

At 9pm Saturday May 21, the Greyhound Bar will host performances by Ten Past Seven. Ten Past Seven was formed in Killarney by Matt, Ger, and Rory. Dublin noise-rock band Shifting & RTE/Spin FM DJ Ray ‘Wingnut’ Cuddihy will support.

Nonfaction bring unique performances to Kerry while promoting and supporting local talent and venues.

The Tralee gigs were supported by Kerry County Council through funds awarded by the Local Live Performance Programming Scheme 3.

The Scheme is by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and has supported performances by local musicians, artists, and performers.
