A NORTH Kerry who have been travelling recently in China were removed from their home last night by medical staff wearing protective clothing.
They were removed by ambulance at around 10pm on Friday and are being assessed as a precautionary measure, after one member complained of feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms. The Health Service Executive (HSE) said that it does not comment on individual cases.
It comes after a woman was admitted and kept in isolation in University Hospital Kerry earlier this week after she presented with flu-like symptoms similar to that of the Coronavirus. Tests in that case proved negative for the virus. There has been no confirmed case of the Coronavirus so far in Ireland.
