Not Going To Croke Park? Here’s A Few Places To Watch Kerry v Dublin

AFTER the fireworks in Tralee last month, this Sunday’s Allianz League Final clash between Kerry and Dublin in Croke Park is being more eagerly anticipated than usual…if that’s possible! If you’re not travelling to HQ , then atmosphere awaits at these locations…

1. A trip to Narieville…

With David Moran on the team and Barry John and Jack Savage poised to pounce from the wings, Charlies Bar at the Kerins O’Rahillys Clubhouse should be packed with the Blues who didn’t make the trip to Dublin.

There’s always a good Sunday lunch menu in the family-friendly bar which will be hopping for the occasion.

2. Black and amber brigade at the Brogue…

They’ll be keeping an eye on Ronan Shanahan in the Brogue this Sunday.

Of course the Stacks side of town is well represented in Croke Park on the day too.

Ronan Shanahan starts again and the Star himself is on the bench to give encouragement to younger players until he’s needed. Kirby’s Brogue Inn is the perfect place then to have lunch and settle in for the match.

3. Cheer on the Na Gaeil man…

The pride of Na Gaeil.

While Jack Barry isn’t starting, expect to see the Na Gaeil man make an appearance before the afternoon is out, considering the excellent job he did keeping Bryan Fenton busy the last time out in Tralee.

The Oakpark faithful should be packing out the clubhouse for the game or having Sunday lunch watching the game in the Meadowlands then.

4. Hennessy’s…

The place is always rocking for big soccer games, so expect a lively, younger crowd in the big bar to have the place hopping.

5. The Castle Bar…

Those in the know will be analysing every kick, break and score, while keeping another eye on the premier league. Expect a great crowd and atmosphere.
