Number Of Confirmed Cases Of COVID-19 In Kerry Stays The Same

THERE was no increase in the number of confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Kerry announced this evening, with the total so far in the county remaining at 292.

43 more deaths from the virus were reported this evening in Ireland at the daily briefing by the Department of Health.  This brings the total of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 to 1,232.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland so far, now stands at 20,612 after 359 new cases were confirmed this evening.

Kerry has the 15th most cases in the country after Dublin (9,967), Kildare (1,193), Cork (1,146), Louth (655), Meath (671), Cavan (634), Wicklow (589), Limerick (535), Mayo (483), Westmeath (474), Donegal (456), Tipperary (415), Monaghan (393) and Galway (355). The Department’s Covid-19 information dashboard can be accessed by clicking here.
