Number Of Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In Kerry Since Start Of Pandemic Now At 320

THE number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kerry since the start of the pandemic is now at 320 after two more cases were added since Sunday.

The number of people who have tested positive for the virus in the Republic of Ireland so far, now stands at 26,801 after 35 new cases were confirmed this evening by the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET).

Six are in Carlow, five in Clare, and the remaining 24 cases are in Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Limerick, Meath, Offaly, Tipperary and Wexford.

There was one additional death from the virus reported this evening in Ireland.  The total number of people who have died after contracting COVID-19 is 1,773.
