Number Of People Signing On In Tralee Rose In November

TRALEE’S live register number increased in November according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.

The number of people signing on in Tralee is 3,057, an increase of 85 on October. That’s still a drop of around nine per cent on November 2018 when the figure was 3,370.

Countywide, 6,866 people signed on last month with all social welfare offices, except for Listowel, recording a rise with the number increasing by 673 or almost 11%. However it’s a drop of nearly 10 per cent on the November 2018 figure of 7,606.

Killarney rose by 294 to 1,100, Dingle by 126 to 480, Kenmare by 74 to 259, Caherciveen by 62 to 299 and Killorglin by 57 to 510. Listowel dropped 25 to 1,161.
