IF you’re feeling energetic this Sunday, then a trip to O’Brennan school in Ballymacelligott could be the place for you.
The school is hosting its first ever 5k Challenge and organisers are hoping families and people of all ages will come along to walk or run the route.
Medals will be presented to all participants and the walk/run will be followed by a barbecue.

It promises to be a fantastic day where the fun starts from 2pm at the school and there’ll be face-painting and a few familiar children’s characters too.
Registration is €5 per participant but a family of four is €15, with just €5 for any extra family members.
Registration takes place on Friday at the school between 6pm and 8pm or from 12.30pm on Sunday.
