Three classics come back to Tralee Omniplex.

TRALEE Omniplex is getting all seasonal with the screening of three classic Christmas movies (and one not so old) as part of their #BringItBack season.

This Friday sees them re-screen the much-loved musical, ‘The Greatest Showman’ due to popular demand. Starring Hugh Jackman, the movie was a massive success when released last November, but its popularity is only rising thanks to the soundtrack.

Things get more festive in December when vest-clad John McClane attempts to save the hostages in the Nakatomi building in ‘Die Hard’, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

Also featuring the scene-stealing Alan Rickman, there’s much debate as to whether the Bruce Willis vehicle can be classed as a ‘Christmas movie’. It can. It runs from Friday, December 7 to Thursday, December 13.

Later that month sees Will Ferrell, in his best loved role as Buddy in ‘Elf’.  After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole is sent to the U.S. in search of his true identity. It runs from Friday, December 14 to Thursday, December 20.

Finally, due to phenomenal demand, they are bringing back ‘Home Alone’ to the big screen after showing to sold out audiences last Christmas.

Macauley Culkin is the eight-year-old troublemaker who must protect his house from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally left home alone by his family during Christmas vacation. It begins on Friday, December 21 and runs to Thursday, December 27. For more details on all the movies, click here for showtimes.
