orlagh wintersIT’S all about the prints this summer!

Unless you have been hiding under a rock lately, you will have seen the huge trend that is in this year – Prints!

Trousers, tops, jackets or shoes, they are all showing bright colours and vibrant patterns.

There are so many ways to keep your style up to the minute. For the more conservative there is the printed top or indeed just a scarf.

Teamed with a pair of skinny white jeans or a mono colour skirt, you can achieve the hot summer look.

As we are now in the middle of wedding season, I am sure that you will have noticed the amount of printed dresses.

Maxi dresses or structured, both look stunning in large floral prints. The secret to getting this look right is to keep the accessories to a minimum.

O'Neill's Pharmacy Ad - FullWear a simple necklace or large earrings with this look but don’t wear both. Team the look with a tailored white tux jacket as this really enhances the floral dress.

For the younger gals, there are super hot pants in great prints but don’t make the mistake of wearing a matching top as you run the risk of looking like a flower bed in the Town Park.

Choose one of the colours in the shorts and wear a top in that colour. If you are prone to cellulite or have milk bottle legs then don’t attempt to wear hot pants.

Wait until the weather gets cooler and wear the hot pants with opaque tights and let’s face it with our luck that could be as soon as next month with the way our weather patterns are.

TK Maxx is my guilty pleasure and nothing pleases me more than rummaging through the rails hunting for that elusive bargain, this is where I found my favourite buy this summer, a really cool pair of printed trousers.

Printed trousers are all the rage this summer.

Printed trousers are big news at the moment with every possible fashionista being snapped in them. If you do have the time take a trip to TK Maxx and hopefully pick a pair up, you will thank me for them as they have become my wardrobe staple as you can wear them casually by day or dress them up at night.

Also make sure to check out Jasmine Boutique as they have a stunning range of fitted printed trousers.

Apparently the sun is going to come out again this week so gals get those prints on display!

Tonight (Wednesday) I am giving style tips for the racing season in Ballyheigue for the Festival Fashion Show, this is a fundraiser for the wonderful Jackie Crowe and it promises to be a great night.

Until next time,

Stay stylish!

Orlagh xx
