In previous columns I spoke about the wonderful Nadur spa at Ballygarry House, well now is the time to go to enjoy a pampering treatment to get your skin winter ready.

The girls there are experts in their field and believe me a body scrub and massage from the Voya range is well worth it.

You will feel refreshed and ready to conquer the world. Keep an eye out for their special offers as these are always really good value  and it is a lovely way to spend some quality time with the girls followed by a sumptuous lunch in Brooks restaurant.

Ok so the toes are cold and the feet are getting wet, well get yourself to Walsh brothers and get some Hunter Wellies and Socks. Not only will your feet thank you but you will also look too cool for school in the process.

Even though they are in the higher price bracket they are well worth it as they are the Rolls Royce of wellies and the socks are incredible to keep the toes toastie. Maybe pass a subtle hint to Santa!

Hats, scarves and gloves are going to be an essential part of your wardrobe for the coming weeks. As always That’s Perfect have come up trumps and have brillant value  No matter what colour you are looking for, Carmel has a match and a smile with her excellent customer service.

Recently two friends of mine, Kerry Fleming and James Brennan, highlighted the need for warm clothes for those  who attend the soup kitchen in Tralee and they collected oceans of coats, jackets and jumpers, so much that had a surplus that they donated to Adapt,  Kerry refuge for women and the Arlington homeless shelter.

This was one of the kindest gestures I have encountered and it really shows the true meaning of the Christmas Spirit. Well done guys it was such a selfless act.

I am sure that you all have some warm clothes in your wardrobes that you could donate, it is not too late to donate to worthy charities and let’s face it we have all heard of the plight of our homeless recently.  No one should be cold in this day and age but that is another story.

Enjoy the build up to Christmas, stay warm and spare a thought  (or a euro) for those less fortunate.

Until next time,

Stay Stylish!
Orlagh xx
