PACO in Tralee will host another of its famous coffee/fashion mornings at their store on The Mall next Friday between 11am and 1pm.
The beneficiary this time will be the Kerry Women’s Resource Centre. The centre closed its doors in December 2o18 despite protests from the local community, but a campaign was launched last September to find a new home.
They are currently in the process of sourcing a premises but funding is vital to advance the new centre.

“It’s very badly needed for the town as they did an awful lot for the people of Kerry when it was opened,” said Eileen Whelan of Paco. “Hopefully people will come down to support us next Friday and it’s a great way to find out more about the centre and the services they can offer.”
It should be a fun morning with a fashion show, spot prizes and tea/coffee, scones and homemade cakes from the ladies. The event is free but donations are encouraged.
Forthcoming fundraisers for the new centre includes a belated celebration of International Women’s Day on March 28 with an afternoon herbal walk in the Town Park from 2pm to 4pm, while on April 3 they will have a fundraiser with the Kerry Choral Union in The Ashe Hotel.
