Pauline Drives Away With New Car Thanks To Cara Credit Union

A TRALEE resident was delighted to accept a brand new Hyundai Kona as the latest winner of the Cara Credit Union Members Car Draw.

Pauline Campion, originally from Dublin, but living in town for the past 28 years, accepted the keys from CEO of Cara Credit Union, Pa Laide, on Thursday.

“Siobhan [Donnelly] rang me and told me the news so I was delighted. I’ve never won anything before,” said Pauline who works in Borg Warner. She was accompanied at the presentation by her husband John Moloney.

Earlier this year, Cara Credit Union teamed up with Adams of Tralee for the Members Car Draw which takes place four times a year.  It has been in operation since 2008 and so far 43 members have won brand new cars.

It’s only open to Cara Credit Union members who are in the draw. The cost of each draw is €6 per draw and any surplus left over at the end of the year is raffled out to their car draw members in the form of cash prizes at Christmas time.
