MEMBERS of the St John the Baptist Liturgy Drama Group performed a dramatic presentation on the Gospel account of Christ’s Passion as part of the traditional Good Friday Ceremony in the Parish Church, Castle Street, Tralee.

Well over 30 parishioners of various ages, from under 10 to over 80, were involved and a large congregation appreciated their efforts.

The ceremony was led by Fr Bernard Healy. The ‘performance’ was enhanced by up to 30 members of the Parish Choir under the direction of Michael O’Shea.

The pageant which has been performed in St John’s for the past 16 years, was scripted, initiated and inspired by Fr Pat Ahern.
