THE Kerry minors made it three in a row Munster titles yesterday in a sun-drenched Fitzgerald Stadium.
Six points was the difference in the end as the Kingdom beat Cork 3-14 to 3-8 with David Clifford the star of the show, netting one and setting up goals for Bryan Sweeney and Sean O’Shea.
Tralee area clubs had players see action with Micheal Reidy of Ballymac in the back line, Diarmaid O’Connor of Na Gaeil impressing in the forwards while Stefan Okunbor of Na Gaeil and Ferdia O’Brien of Austin Stacks both got a run out towards the end. Kieran Dwyer from St Pats was on the subs bench.
The minors are now through to the quarter finals on the August Bank Holiday weekend where they will meet the losers of the Ulster Final between Derry and Donegal. Scroll down for our images from the game…
