IT was a fantastic afternoon of entertainment at Kingdom County Fair in Ballybeggan yesterday, as thousands made their way to the old racecourse.
It was a dry day – for the most part – so families were able to enjoy the dog show, children’s amusements, arts and crafts and the many animals on show.
The Fair celebrated its 67th year with over €40,000 in prize money and trophies awarded and it was one of the most successful in years according to organisers.
The agricultural and show jumping competitions were a big hit as always and the business stalls got a chance to show their wares to the masses.
It was also an occasion to pick the Kingdom County Fair Rose to go forward to the Kerry Rose selection in 2017 and Holly O’Mahoney from Cork was chosen as their representative for next year.
A great way to spend the afternoon with something for everyone. Scroll down for photos from the event…
