HUNDREDS of people went out to Ballyseede Castle Hotel for two special open-air performances this week, one of which helped out a great cause.
Jane Austen’s classic, ‘Sense And Sensibility’, was performed by the Chapterhouse Theatre Company on Tuesday and Wednesday and the weather held out for the most part to provide a great way to spend the summer evenings.
The company have been putting on performances at the hotel grounds for the past seven years and didn’t disappoint as people gathered in the grass from 5pm with their chairs and refreshments to enjoy the drama.
In a kind gesture by the hotel, the profits from the first performance on Tuesday went to the Chernobyl Children’s Project. Scroll down for photos taken before Wednesday’s performance…
