A VERY special event was held in Ballyseedy Garden Centre on Saturday evening where almost 200 guests helped raise funds for the The Irish Pilgrimage Trust.
The €50 a head ‘Valentine’s Dinner Under The Stars at Ballyseedy’ event saw guests enjoy a champagne reception followed by a four course meal with music from a jazz band on arrival and later, entertainment from the Bryan Carr School of Performing Arts.
There was also an after party in The Blasket Bar in town.

Special guest on the night was Elysha Brennan, the International Rose of Tralee 2015.
The Irish Pilgrimage Trust is a registered charity in Ireland. Every Easter they take a group of children with a variety of special needs to Lourdes for a week and this year Elysha Brennan will travel with the group.
Children are selected on the basis of their medical or social needs and the Trust raises funds for the sponsorship of all of the children.
The young people travel without their parents, and embark on this very rewarding adventure with a dedicated team of adult volunteers/carers (including a Group Leader, Nurse and Chaplin).
The Trust receives no state/public funds and the Trust is totally reliant on fundraising and voluntary donations.
