PHOTOS: A Fun Day For Pupils At Listellick NS

SADLY, school tours and all the excitement that goes with it, is a no-no again this year, but the folks at Listellick NS decided to have their own fun day on Friday instead.

“The advice from the Department of Education was that it was best not to have school tours involving long bus journeys, so we decided we would run a fun day here at the school,” said Principal of Listellick NS, Annette Dineen.

“We have activities all day and an ice-cream van also visited. We had the fairies from Kilflynn Enchanted Festival, Zumba with Pádraig, football skills, an art workshop, drumming sessions with Martin and Podge from Active Kingdom ran team games,” said Annette.

The kids looked like they were having great fun when we arrived and the weather stayed fine so they could enjoy the outdoor activities. Scroll down for photos…
