ST Stephen’s Day is always fun at Tralee Rugby Club, but the fine weather made it an even more enjoyable day at O’Dowd Park.

The 5k/3k family fun run has become a tradition at this stage and they had a nice turnout with many kids joining their parents in the sunshine.

The fun run preceded the annual Tralee RFC v Exiles rugby match, but this year the Exiles were renamed ‘Kelly’s Heroes’ in honour of their late President, Sean Kelly, who passed away in November.

DNG Giles also sponsored four €50 vouchers which were won by Siobhán Hannagan, Deirdre Peake , Tom Stuart (u16) and Grace Costello (u16).

There was also a charity aspect to the day with some of the funds raised going towards the Palliative Care Unit. Scroll down for photos…
