A GOOD crowd decided to head into town on Monday morning for the annual Bill Kirby Memorial Walk in aid of the Kerry Hospice Foundation.
Organised every year by Michael ‘Fox’ O’Connor, the traditional St Stephen’s Day walk has raised hundreds of thousands of euro for charities since 1999.
The walkers departed on a cold but dry morning from the Brogue Inn at 11.30am, setting off up Rock Street and Monavalley, over to the Bracker Regan Road, down Caherslee then back to The Rock through Pembroke Street.
After the walk, there were hot drinks back outside the Brogue Inn, compliments of the Kirby/Cotter family. Scroll down for photos…
