THIS week, Kerins O’Rahillys stars in the making  took part in the club’s GAA Cúl Camp.

In total, 41 boys and girls took part in the camp which ran from Monday to Friday.

“We’re up on numbers on last year which is great.” said camp co-ordinator, Giles O’Grady.

Three coaches have been teaching and improving the young players’ skills, with groups being divided up by age.

“Basically, we just want them to have as much fun as they can, running through all the skills of football, learning from the basics, to kicking the ball over the bar or shooting for a goal,” said Giles O’Grady.

On Friday, a player of the week was awarded with one of the club’s three senior inter-county players doing the honours of handing the award and giving a chat to the kids.
