THIS weekend marked the fifth anniversary of the passing of Donal Walsh and two special events took place to remember the young man who continues to make such an impact on people’s lives.
On Friday there was a special anniversary Mass celebrated in Knock with 3,000 students attending from all over the country, which was broadcast on RTE on Sunday morning.
Then on Saturday in Tralee there was a music day held in The Mall with around 30 acts taking part to raise funds for the Donal Walsh Livelife Foundation and Tralee RFC.
People enjoyed a wide variety of acts throughout the course of the afternoon to remember Donal who continues to inspire. Scroll down for photos…
A Papal Blessing from @Pontifex just when we taught the day couldn’t get any better. Thank you to all involved. Tune into @rte at 11am tomorrow to see the Mass for @DonalLiveLife pic.twitter.com/dm72FgVzT9
