A LIVERPOOL and Republic of Ireland legend was in Tralee last night to meet fans and regale them with stories of his time on and off the pitch.

After watching the Liverpool v Man City game in the bar, Ronnie said he was satisfied that Liverpool got a draw.

“City have quick players who know how to run behind this Liverpool team when they play the high line. They could have been four up at one stage, but Liverpool hung in there and I’m glad we got the draw because it could’ve been so much worse,” he said.
Interviewed by Neil Madigan, Ronnie went on to tell the audience about his career, the good times with teammates at both club and international level and the changes in football over the years.
There was an auction and a raffle of sporting memorabilia and everyone got a chance to have their photo taken with Ronnie. A hugely entertaining night and well done to The Huddle for putting it on. Scroll down for photos…
