IT’S been quite a couple of weeks for Kieran Donaghy and things are showing no signs of abating over Christmas.
In the past couple of weeks he has been to New York and London for book signings and took time to visit his beloved Stamford Bridge where he was interviewed for the Official Chelsea FC Magazine and matchday programme.

He also won the Eir Sports Book of the Year and got the ‘Second Captains’ nod for Book Of The Year for ‘What Do You Think Of That?’
But the Stacks man was in O’Mahonys Bookshop on Saturday afternoon for another signing, the last before Christmas, so there was a good crowd there to get that Christmas present with the author’s signature.
A familiar face popped in to get a copy signed too. Paul Galvin, a man no stranger to book signings, skipped the queue according to Kieran’s tweet (see below) but nobody minded as he caught up with his buddy.
Then it was off to Limerick to play for Garvey’s Tralee Warriors Radisson Blu UL Eagles where he helped them enjoy and emphatic win by 98 to 66.
If you think he can put the feet up over the Christmas and take a well-earned break you’d be mistaken, as the Warriors will be at home for a cracker against UCC Blue Demons on Friday, December 30 at the sports complex. Scroll down for photos from Saturday’s book signing…
