This North Kerry Intermediate Shield final was a closely contested affair, with Austin Stacks leading at half time by three points, 3-6 to 3-3.
Finuge/St. Senans piled on the pressure in the second half, but Austin Stacks ladies rose to the challenge and finished their football year in fine style to claim the Shield.
The shield was presented to Austin Stacks captain, Kerina Slattery by Frank McLoughlin on behalf of the North Kerry Ladies Football Board.
Before the throw-in, both teams held a minute’s silence in memory of John O’Shea who passed away last week (father of team player, Deirdre)
