IT may be seven weeks away, but excitement is already building in the village of Ballyheigue as the club prepares to hold its first ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ night.

A launch night was held at the club grounds on Thursday evening where many of the contestants gathered for photos and chat about the event which will take place on Saturday, November 4, at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel.

The organisers are being tight-lipped about the judges and the couples have yet to be paired off, but with seven weeks to go, choreographer Joe Burkett will have them gliding gracefully across the dance floor by the time he’s finished with them.
