THE sun came out for the hundreds of fitness enthusiasts who converged on Banna yesterday for what has become the bi-annual Banna Beach Challenge.
Around 500 adults and an incredible 450 children turned up in the sunshine to face the obstacles on courses of varying lengths.
The adults tackled a 7km course with obstacles while the children faced a much shorter challenge on a day filled with fun and endurance-testing.

There were some tired bodies at the finish, but a great sense of achievement before many headed off to the after party in the Banna Beach Hotel later that afternoon. Scroll down for photos…
