THERE was a steady stream of ladies heading into Carraig Donn on Friday evening for a special event benefiting a local charity.
The Bridge Street business was hosting a customer evening, with Comfort For Chemo Kerry receiving proceeds from a raffle. Kerry Rose Sally Ann Leahy was present to show her support at the night which was MC’d by stylist Danny Leane.
Ladies enjoyed prosecco or orange juice on arrival and were treated to a fashion show, while the ladies from the Estee Lauder counter at CH gave a make-up tutorial. Both CH and Carraig Donn offered discounts on products.

Chairperson of Comfort For Chemo Kerry, Mary Fitzgerald, said she was grateful to store manager Catherine O’Sullivan for hosting the event and Catherine said she was delighted to help out.
The main target of the charity is to develop a Centre of Excellence that would provide care for the cancer patients of Kerry and their families. It is hoped this will take the form of a separate purpose-built unit on the grounds of UHK.
