THE annual Business Leaders’ Gala Dinner took place last night, providing a fitting denouement to the Cantillon Conference which was held earlier on Thursday.
The Institute of Technology Tralee, in association with Deloitte, hosted the event at Ballygarry House Hotel, Tralee where the entrepreneurial achievements of Kerry-based business leaders were celebrated.
It was also an occasion to pay tribute to a distinguished guest as the Business Leader of the Year and this year it was Con and Anne Stack, founders of Tricel in Killarney who now employ 500 people in 10 countries.

With around 170 in attendance, the occasion played host to Kerry’s leading enterprises and entrepreneurs, as well as representatives from Kerry County Council, Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, Kerry Local Enterprise Office, North, East & West Kerry Development; South Kerry Partnership Development, Udarás na Gaeltachta and the Institute of Technology Tralee.
