THERE was standing room only in St John’s Church on Castle Street on Thursday, as nearly 90 children from schools in town celebrated their Confirmation Day.
There were three classes from CBS Primary School, two from Mercy Moyderwell and also a few pupils from St John’s Ashe Street and Mercy Mounthawk receiving the sacrament.
Bishop of Kerry, Ray Browne – and a number of other clergy – was present for the occasion and afterwards he stood in for class photographs with the pupils…
